Athens (Marina Zeas) to Aegina island via Moni Island – Duration: 7 hours
3 Stops – 2 Points of Interest – Marina Zeas -Departure and arrival point
Operating Schedule:
Departure from Marina Zeas at 10:30 am 1st stop in Moni island for 2 hours and heading to the 2nd stop, the island of Aegina, for an hour. We are back at Marina Zeas at 17:30.
1st Stop Moni Aeginas (12.30 hrs – 14.30 hrs)
A visit to the island of Moni, opposite Aegina, is highly recommended for nature,sun & sea lovers. Enjoy its fantastically clean waters and beautiful nature with its animals, the only inhabitants of the island. Moni lies at a short distance from Aegina island and there are regular boat connections from Perdika throughout the summer months. The small boats disembark at the organized sandy beach on a cove on the north coast of the island, within 10 minutes you will reach this paradise location, ideal for children!
2nd Stop Aegina (15.00-16.00 hrs)
Aegina Arguably one of the main attractions of Aegina is that it is a real living and working island. Thankfully not a victim of mass tourism, Aegina is the perfect destination for the independent traveler who yearns to experience some reality of the country she is visiting. Those who are well travelled in Greece will note that Aegina is not as “manicured” as some islands popular with foreign tourists. It hosts mainly Greek weekend visitors. This simply adds to the charm. Popular sites to visit are: the temple of Aphaia and the church of Agios Nektarios.
We depart from Aegina Island at 16.00 hrs and arrive at Marina Zeas port approx. 17.30 hrs.
