1st Day: CORINTH CANAL – EPIDAURUS – MYCENAE – NAFPLIO – OLYMPIA

Departure from our Athens central hotel or the terminal for the Grand Tour of Greece, early in the morning. Drive to Corinth Canal (short stop for photos). Then drive to Epidaurus and visit of the archaeological site and the ancient theater which is famous for its acoustics. Continue to the first capital city of Greece, Nafplio (short stop). Drive to Mycenae, where we’ll visit the archaeological site with the Lion’s Gate and the treasure of Atreus. Depart for Olympia, passing the cities Megalopolis and Tripolis of central Peloponnese. Arrival in Olympia. Dinner and overnight at our hotel,

2nd Day: OLYMPIA – DELPHI

Breakfast at our hotel and we’ll visit the museum and the archaeological site of Olympia. Drive to Rion via Patras. We’ll cross the channel to Antirion on the new bridge considered to be the longest and most modern in Europe. Drive to Nafpaktos and then arrival at Delphi. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

3rd Day: DELPHI

Breakfast at the hotel and visit of the archaeological site and the museum of Delphi. The rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at our hotel at Delphi.

4th Day: AMPHISSA – LAMIA – TRIKALA – KALAMBAKA – METEORA MONASTERIES

After breakfast, we drive to Kalambaka passing by the towns of  central Greece Amphissa, Lamia and Trikala. In the afternoon we’ll visit the Meteora Monasteries. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka.

5th Day: TRIKALA – LARISSA – DION – THESSALONIKI

Breakfast in the morning and passing by the cities of Trikala and Larissa arrival at the sacred Macedonian town of Dion where we’ll visit the archaeological site. We continue for Thessaloniki, the largest town in Northern Greece. Sightseeing of Thessaloniki and visit of the most interesting museum. Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Thessaloniki.

6th Day: PELLA – VERGINA – THESSALONIKI

After breakfast, drive to Pella to visit the capital city of Alexander the Great. We continue to Vergina to visit the Tomb of  king Philippos and the famous Treasures of Vergina. We go on to Lefkadia to visit the excavations. We return to Thessaloniki. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

7th Day: TEMPI VALLEY – LARISSA – LAMIA – THERMOPYLAE – ATHENS

Breakfast at hotel  and we return to Athens through the Tempi Valley. Passing by the towns of Larissa and Lamia we arrive at Thermopylae famous for the ancient battle. Visit of the site and go on to Kammena Vourla. Then arrival at Athens. The 7 days Grand Tour of Greece is an excellent choice for all the visitors of our country.
